Volunteer

Volunteers are the driving force behind food banks.  We want you to enjoy volunteering and there are lots of ways to get involved. Whatever role you choose, you will make a real difference to the life of someone in need.

We currently have approximately 40 volunteers working a massive 260 hours per week. Skills range from: 

• Collecting and sorting donations
• Putting together parcels
• Signposting clients for further support
• Managing admin and data
• Website creation/maintenance
• Social media presence
• Corporate donor fundraising campaigns

• Would you enjoy spending that time volunteering and helping others in your community?
• Are you interested in joining a great team in warehousing and food distribution?
• Would something local and very rewarding suit you best?

If so then we might have just the opportunity for you. Cramlington Foodbank is a great place to be and we are looking for new volunteers to cover a variety of shifts throughout the week.

We are open Monday to Friday and shifts are either 10am until 1pm or 1pm until 4pm. All we ask is that you can work at least one 3 hour shift each week.
