Cramlington Foodbank Receives Generous Grant for Christmas Hampers

We’re thrilled to announce that Cramlington Foodbank has received a £500 grant from Sainsbury’s, enabling us to purchase meat for our Christmas dinner hampers! This wonderful contribution will help us provide local families in need with a warm, nutritious meal this holiday season.

This grant was made possible through our partnership with Neighbourly, an organization that coordinates with major supermarkets to ensure surplus food is fairly distributed to local charities. Thanks to Neighbourly, we receive valuable stock from Sainsbury’s, Asda, Aldi, and Marks and Spencer, which helps keep our shelves full and supports our mission to reduce food poverty.

We’re incredibly grateful to Sainsbury’s and Neighbourly for their ongoing support, which allows us to make a positive difference in our community, especially during the festive season.
